Applied through the GradX program. Sent through my CV and cover letter and then progressed through the aptitude tests. Progressed through these and then went in person for an interview.

Interview process was rigorous but fair.

The GradX application process is very thorough. It starts with a questionnaire and an aptitude test, and if you perform well and have a strong resume you get shortlisted into a group of ~30 others. The company then flies everyone to a major city such as Sydney, and conducts interviews and group tasks etc. to further assess the applicants, and introduce them to the company. A few weeks later you will be notified if your application was successful. It's stressful but it allows the company to only take on high performing individuals.

An online application, followed by online gamified aptitude testing. Then a group and individual interview on the same day. Offers were sent out after this.

There were a number of assessments to get into gradX, including logical assessments and communication style/ability assessments. This was followed by a group interview. For a grad program I found this extremely comforting as it was not myself in a room with a number of important people but also a number of people in my position. From memory, there was also a female at each of these stages which is very comforting for a female in a very male dominated field.

The hiring process was organised well. There was a solid session organised where there was a team exercise and also a private interview. Questions were technical in nature but didnt need a technical physical response. i think this was perfect as it allows a response to be tailored and involve technical conversations but did not allow one to have to complete an analysis or mathematical analysis on the fly. This reflects on the company well because they try to account for people who might not be good on the spot with mathematical analyses.

The GradX interview process was actually enjoyable. I believe there was an early screening/questionnaire.
